An issue that mostly deals with violence against women in relationships, but know that also some men suffer this. As we become more educated about it, there become more resources that domestic violence victims can use to break the cycle of this crime. Teaching young girls and people that no one has the right to control or "discipline" them in a relationship is key. Teaching self esteem and also being a good example yourself to the children in your life can help stop the perpetuation or the idea that being violent to your spouse is just "normal" behavior.
